German Police Report Translation
Have your German to English police clearance translation certified per USCIS requirements
Your police certificate (Fuehruengszeugniss) in German language is an official and legal document. This requires accurate and true translation of your original document.
Who issues German police reports?
German residents get their police clearance certificates from local registration office called “Meldebehörde”. German police certificates are valid for only three months. However, U.S. Embassies accept police clearance records up to six months.
Certified English translation of German police report
Certification by Translator is the document required by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Typical certification is on corporate letterhead with authorized signature and corporate seal. “Certification by Translator” is the first page of your certified translation, followed by translated text, and, finally, a copy of your police record.
Keep your original police record along with your other German documents with you when you meet the USCIS officer. You are required to submit the originals of your immigration documents in German when you present your certified translation of the same. The copy attached to your certified translation must exactly match the original German copy without any doubt.
