Georgian: Official language of the

verb, and object.

Georgian Standardization Efforts: The rules have been
adopted by the Transcription Group (headed by Ivane
Gigineishvili) of the Georgian Encyclopedia in collaboration
with experts in respective languages, and have been
confirmed by the Governmental Commission for Standardization
of Modern Literary Georgian (now the State Language
Commission attached to the Georgian Presidency).
