What is diploma?

A diploma is an academic certificate issued by an education institution (high school, university, college, vocational school, etc.) awarded to the graduate who has successfully completed the courses offered and the examination or test conducted.

A typical diploma contains information on major field (technical, medical, legal, social, etc.), the number of years or semesters of education or training, name of the educational institution with the signatures of principals, dean, president, rector or director of the academic organization, seals and stamps.
