Burmese language

Burmese: The official language of Burma (officially renamed Myanmar in 1989).

Language Classification: The Tibetan language is the dominant in the Tibeto-Burman group of Tibet, and Burmese is the official language of Burma. The Eastern (or Burmic) branch includes Burmese and the other Lolo-Burmese languages of Burma, Thailand, and Yunnan, and other languages of Yunnan and northern Burma.

Burmese Dialects: Vernacular language: it is a matter of using /ba-ma/ in the colloquial or informal style, and /myan-ma/ in the written, literary or formal style. Many Tibeto-Burman languages are tone languages, that is, the differences in pitch and pitch contour can change the meanings of words.

Burmese Orthography: Burmese script, Burmese script is circular as others in the Brahmic family of languages originated from the ancient Sanskrit.
