USCIS requires certified translation of your birth certificate for your visa application
You need to present your birth as-is if you are already an American citizen or have it translated to English and certified per USCIS requirements if your birth certificate is not in English language.
USCIS requirement for certified translation of your birth certificate
Federal Regulations 8 CFR 103.2 b 2 relating to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/Immigration states requirements under Regulations/Powers and Duties – Availability of Records:
"(3) Translations. Any document containing foreign language submitted to the Service shall be accompanied by a full English language translation which the translator has certified as complete and accurate, and by the translator’s certification that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English."
